Sunday update

Nothing much going on up here, a friend from Williamsburg was up here visiting some other folks and we all got together for drinks Friday night at Fado's Irish Pub. It's only 2 blocks from our house, so that worked out great.

Saturday we got up and went out looking for a new couch. Yeahhhh! I think we found one at Macy's. Here's a link if you want to take a peek:

We went back to Williamsburg and picked up another load of things to haul back to DC and today we need to finish unloading the car. It's packed to the roof!

We're only two weeks away from our cruise with Mac's family...so we're on a diet countdown! Wish us luck! Although Mac has lost about 18 pounds in the last few months, and his blood pressure is normal, etc. He's doing great!

On another note, Brenda's baby was due November 8th, but this week the doctors found an issue with the baby's heart. Today they induced labor and baby Keifer was born at 4:06, mom and baby are doing great. Tomorrow they will have to go in and take a look at his heart, so please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Good morning DC

Ok, lots going on since my last post!

I went to see Grease at the Chrystler Hall in Norfolk the last week of September with my friend Valerie. We had dinner before and then saw the show. It was fabu! Loved it.

My last day at Northrop Grumman Shipyard, Jenni, Kim, me and Ashley...posed in front of the Dorothy. (A shipyard icon, one of the first ships built in the yard)
