Winding Down February...

Well February has been so busy! Me at work and Mac on the road, the week days fly by in a blurr. The weekends go even faster, how sad!

Ok, so this past Saturday Mac got really brave and took me skiing...for the first time EVER!

YIKES!!

So here's how I looked when I first walked out of the rental area...awww, so cute!

This was just a few feet later...luckily I can laugh at myself. (otherwise I'd be crying)

We took a break and got a bite to eat and a some warm drinks. After that I was done!

Also, we got our wii fit this weekend and I love it! I've been putting in about 30 minutes a day, it's a blast! Mac and I have our characters all set up. wiiiiiiiiiii
I finally got the official pics from our reception in Texas. So here's a sample for those who couldn't make it:

We had the reception at Joe T. Garcia's

The Parkers (most of them)

And of course we have to have our dance...awww

Alright, that's all I have time for...Mac is out of town and I'm home catching up on the lastest episodes of Big Love on HBO. Good stuff!

Last but not least, I want to tell everyone about my latest venture. I'm going to walk the Avon 2 day Breast Cancer Walk in DC this May. It's a great event and I'm in the process of trying to raise my $1800.
So if you could, please check out my website: www.avonwalk.org/goto/cynthia.dinning
I'll be prepping for the walk and I'll be updating my blog along the way.
Hope everyone is doing well!
xoxo

Ok, so last weekend was V-Day...when I got home from work Mac had a huge arrangement of tulips, & godiva chocolate. awwww He's too good. =)
Mac took me to dinner Saturday night at the James City Tavern. It's a cute little country inn type of place on a back road, between Williamsburg and Richmond.
Here's Mac at the Tavern:
mmmm, this was Mac's bread pudding with butter rum sauce...very good stuff!

There's me with my tulips...

Love Mac's face in this one...hahaha

Sunday we got up and drove to DC to meet some of my high school friends. We met them at the Capitol Brewing Co.

So here's me with Andy Dodson and Kristy Scott Powell. I've known both of them since elementary school, but haven't seen either since graduation! (1985, yikes)

Here's me teaching Andy & Kristy my trademark move...fist under the chin, which reduces the double chin look!
We checked out the ocean exhibit at the Natural History Museum
Kristy and I (her husband Kelley behind us)

So that's about it. Mac is out of town this week...New Hampshire tonight and DC Friday, then home.
I think we're going to try to go to Wintergreen this weekend, which is where Mac wants to teach me how to ski. Oh my! This should be interesting. Stay tuned. =)

Hello!

Well! I have been working overtime and Mac's been on the road, so I haven't been on blogspot too much, but here's the latest...
Last weekend we watched movies, went to a Superbowl watching party and just hung out around the house, this weekend much of the same but we had some fabulous weather!! We did a nice walk yesterday at CW and today we did an almost 2 hr bike ride. Whew! That about did us in...we haven't been on our bikes since October, due to weather, but today it was about 70 degrees and we couldn't just stay in the house. =)
Superbowl Party at George's house, this is his fabu new bar he designed and built. Very cool!
Laying out on the desk last weekend...

Our bike ride this weekend, this is my view...Mac's the leader! hahaha

And me, showing my great biking skills...

So that's about it for us. Sad huh?
I'm very excited to finally see a ton of my old friends from high school on facebook! Next weekend we're meeting one of them, Kristy Scott and her husband in DC. Good times.
Mac is leaving tomorrow until Thursday and I'm just workin away. We'll have pics next weekend from DC.
Have a great week!
