Back to School

Next week I start classes again...I'm taking three 5 week classes starting Oct 1, and when those end I'll take three more 5 week classes and those end just before Christmas. So I'm gearing myself up for that.

Official weight loss is 94 pounds. My friend Jeri only weighs 95 pounds, so I only have one more pound to lose a Jeri!! WOW Then just a few more to 100. Tonight I bought some new jeans...size 12.

A few other things going on with me, I went to my family doctor to have him check out two small cysts I found...he sent me to a surgeon and we've scheduled an outpatient thing for the third Wed. in October to remove them. Shouldn't be a big deal. He then discovered I haven't had a mamogram, so that got scheduled for November. I also had him document some skin stuff...later (probably after my 1 yr post op date, April 30) I want to have some excess skin removed and I've heard you have to get that in your file to get assistance from insurance. They really only pay for the stomach. Arms, legs and neck are your problem. When I have my 1 yr check up I'll find out what I need to do to get that started.

Dancing with the Stars is back and I'm loving it! My fav girls: Sabrina, Jenne, (Jane and Marie are cute, but I'm thinking they can't compete) and fav guys: Albert, Helio, and Floyd (Wayne...love him, but he's got Jerry Springer moves). If you're not watching it and you like that old type of entertainment, sort of Lawrence Welk meets 2007, you need to tune in. Mac even watches it with me!

Friday, Mac and I are working till 11 and heading home to pack up and drive to Ohio for the 2nd Annual Country Living Fair. Should be interesting! I saw it in the October issue of Country Living and it sounds like fun. We're a little less than 9 hours away, so I thought it would be a fun weekend trip. We're inviting the boys, but not sure if they are on board yet.

Another Saturday night...

Change in plans, we didn't go camping after all. But we did do our walk in CW and had a nice relaxing day.


Tomorrow we'll watch football and get ready for the week, Mac has a business trip Mon-Thurs and Justin and I will be home alone.

From the road...

I'm in the big city of Lansdale, PA. I ran down to the work out room at lunch time and weighed in at 93 pounds lost. Getting closer!!

I'm flying home in the morning, and I'll head right into work, should be there by noon. After work Mac and I are hitting the road to head up to go camping. This should be interesting. =)

Sunday Night Football

Go Cowboys!! woohooooo We're 2 and 0...and the Deadskins are only 1 and 0. hahahaha

We had a nice relaxing weekend. The weather is wonderful, it's been in the 70's. All the kids were home so Mac made a great dinner for us Saturday night, and we ate outside on the deck. Crab legs, grilled chicken and veggie kabobs and steaks with bernaise sauce. mmmm mmmm mmmmm

I'm down 91 pounds. We're about to go walk at CW. With Mac on travel lately, we haven't been doing our walking together, but I've been walking on the treadmill.

So we're outta here, Mac is off to DC tomorrow for two nights and Tuesday I'm heading to Hatfield, PA till the end of the week. We may be going camping Friday and Saturday...not sure yet, but that seems to be the plan.

Also we want to say WAY TO GO BRANDY!! Brandon scored 2 touchdowns in his peewee football game this weekend...good game! xoxo (Brenda send me a pic of Brandon and Bre in their football/cheerleading gear and I'll post it here.)

Viva Las Vegas!!

Hey there, blogging from Vegas baby! I've won some and I've lost some, but I think I'm about even right now. =) Yesterday morning I weighed in at 89 pounds lost and going strong.

This morning Mac and I drove down and parked at Hooters and walked across the street to New York, New York...there's a great sidewalk cafe that we love, so we had a nice breakfast.

Mac had to go to work for a few hours, so he dropped me off at what used to be Barbary Coast (now Bill's Gambling Hall) and I hung out there till he got back. He and one of his team members Tron came by and we walked down to the Harley Davidson Cafe, then we walked on down to Excalibur, back to Bill's and then a few more blocks away to the parking area. So I'm thinking we're getting our walking in. =)

Sunday Morning Shows & Coffee

I slept late this morning. I could smell the coffee Mac had already made and it made me want to get up and get me some. When I walked into the living room there was Mac in his normal position on the couch watching his Sunday political shows. We love our lazy Sundays!

Got on the scales this morning and see that I'm at 87 pounds lost. Hard to believe I'm only 13 pounds away from losing 100 pounds!! WOW...I'm hoping that will be by the end of October. Then I just want to lose another 35 pounds or so to get to my goal.

Monday Mac leaves for LasVegas for a "business trip". (Who gets to go to Vegas for business?) Since his birthday is this Thursday, I'm going to fly out there Tuesday and we'll both fly back on Friday.

It's Wednesday...

and I'm on schedule for my blog! woohooooo

Down 84 pounds today, starting week 2 of free weights and feeling good. (got a little muscle forming in my biceps) But today I went to visit my hair guy, Chip. I recently found a hairstyle in a magazine and I showed it to him. He pretty much pulled it off, it'll take some getting used to, but it's what I wanted. He said he would donate my hair to Locks for Love. He works with cancer patients and collects hair for LfL to make wigs for cancer patients. He's such a sweetheart...love him!

September

Well thank goodness, we finally got a break on the weather. It's been a beautiful weekend. Low 80's and a little cooler at night. Saturday night we sat around the campfire with Ashley and Joey. They had a little campsite in Newport News, so we played cards and enjoyed chatting around the fire. Gorgeous night.

Today we went down to the boardwalk in Virginia Beach to cheer on Valerie and Donald in their half marathon (that's 13 miles). We met up and grabbed some lunch with them at a little pizza place down there. Last year they finished the same race in just over 3 hrs, this time they beat their time by a few minutes and did it under 3 hrs. They want us to do it with them next year, but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm down 83 pounds and still working at it. Here's my latest pic taken tonight.
